BANT is to enrich the lives of the people of Bangladesh-origin living in North Texas, by inspiring their mind and spirit to create a sense of pride in maintaining an unique Bangladeshi identity here in the US, by projecting the rich culture and heritage of Bangladesh to our young generation in particular and by fostering social and cultural awareness among the Bangladeshi community in general.

The Bangladesh Relief Fund is an Ohio not-for-profit corporation organized to raise and distribute funds for poverty alleviation in Bangladesh. It was formed by Mr. Muhit Rahman, an expatriate Bangladeshi American, in August, 2004 in response to the devastating floods of 2004. Mr. Rahman is being advised by his longtime friend, Ms. Sally Bachman, a journalist living in Northern California.
