The American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) was formally established in 1996 having been duly registered with the Joint Stock Companies of Bangladesh to promote the economic relationships between Bangladesh and the United States. Earlier, ArnCham used to operate as American Bangladesh Economic Forum (ABEF) since 1988. ArnCham holds the full Membership of the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC).

The Council seeks to foster the friendship and understanding and commercial activities between Australia and Bangladesh and to promote technical, scientific and economic co-operation, trade investment, tourism and cultural relationship between Australia and Bangladesh.

BEI is mandated to promote, articulate and influence policy issues and measures of crucial importance to the development of a market oriented economic regime enabling the unfettered and smooth growth of trade, commerce and industry by way of identifying hindrances to the growth of the private sector and advocating for their removal.

The fundamental objective of BGMEA is to establish a healthy business environment for a close and mutually beneficial relationship between the manufacturers, exporters and importers in the process ensuring a steady growth in the foreign exchange earnings of the country. To this end, BGMEA has been playing a very strong role to lead the industry in concurrence with the government.

Our mission is to promote trade union rights and activities among the garments factories in Bangladesh. We encompass “Unionize the un-unionized” workers of the garment industries in Bangladesh. The unity through trade union activities and right to organize will contribute worker’s right and a decent working environment is the ready made garments sector of Bangladesh; we believe.

BLMEA is an Association established and registered in December 2001. The fundamental objective of BLMEA is to establish a healthy business environment for a close and mutually beneficial relationship between the local label manufacturers and readymade garments exporters.

Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI) is an independent non profit service oriented organization that promotes leadership, strategic thinking and bilateral business partnerships. BMCCI’s mission is to help Private Sector leadership in trade & industry and wants to foster strategic capabilities through the interchange of ideas.

The Canada Bangladesh Business Council (CBBC) was established in 1990 with the goal of promoting commercial relationship between Canada and Bangladesh. It is a non-profit, non-partisan, members supported organization which provides a forum for discussion of key economic, commercial and other issues of interest to Canadian companies currently involved or planning to do business in Bangladesh.

The Canada Bangladesh Investment Group (CBIG) was formed and incorporated in Canada specifically to direct its activities within the Bangladesh and Canada market as a facilitator and coordinator for funding, joint ventures, stock market listings and other financial and administrative activities.
