AIS/D has well earned a reputation in the international schools community as an excellent school, with a highly regarded professional staff and wonderful facilities. At the heart of it all, however, is most important element in any good school, our students. Central to everything done at the school, are the needs of the approximately 700 individual students, who range in age from 3 to 18 and hail from all over the world. Every AIS/D professional and support staff member takes very seriously the school’s mission to develop students who are independent learners and international citizens, in an academic environment where each individual is included, challenged and successful.

The School provides a comprehensive, balanced education, integrating all eight learning areas from the Western Australian Curriculum Framework.

International School Dhaka is a co-educational school founded in 1999 and built to accommodate students from Nursery to Grade Twelve. The school seeks to provide a high-quality English-medium education for both national and expatriate students. Officially opened on 1st September 1999, the school will expand to Grade Twelve by 2006.

Kaplan has a curriculum designed to teach through classroom interaction & experience- based lessons. We offer several alternative subjects for a more holistic education from preschool to O-levels. In 1991, a group of dedicated young people established Bangla School with a slogan “Esho Amra Bangla Shikhi.” The school started with seven students and two dedicated teachers in a basement.

Oxford International School (OIS) is an English medium co-education School following the academic programme of the University of Cambridge, UK up to GCE O and A Level . The first Principal of OIS was Ian Burges, an ex-professor of the University of Cambridge UK.

Scholastica was set up in 1977 in response to the need for an organized school leaving course using English as the medium of instruction but emphasizing equal proficiency in Bangla as a necessary prerequisite for a well-rounded education for Bangladeshi students.
