University in Bangladesh

The Peoples University of Bangladesh (PUB) was established on 14th May, 1996 as a private University under the Private University Act 1992, with a vision to enhance the opportunities for higher education in Bangladesh. Business Administration (BBA), Tourism and Hospitality Management, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Physiotherapy(BSPT), English, Islamic Studies & Culture.

The University of Asia Pacific (UAP) was established in 1996 as a private university under the Private University Act 1992, with a vision to enhance the opportunities for higher education in Bangladesh. It offers: Architecture, Business Administration (BBA), Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Law and Human Rights, Pharmacy.

United International University (UIU) is the outcome of the initiative taken by a couple of renowned academicians. It is established with the generous support and patronage of the United Group, a successful business conglomerate operating in diverse business areas. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Computer and Telecommunication Engineering (CTE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE), Bussiness Administration (BBA).

In the year 2002 the Government of Bangladesh approved the University of Development Alternative (UODA) and now under 4 faculties, UODA offers 4-year honors degree in 10 (ten) subjects. The students will also be able to achieve their Masters degree in their respective subjects.Presently it consists of Engineering Faculty, Faculty of Business Administration, Life Science Faculty, Arts Faculty.

University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) is launched with a new vision to meet the challenge of “redefining” scientific and technology education. The vision is, therefore, to establish a university in Bangladesh that shall be a “world class nucleating centre of achievement”. It offers: BBA (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Banking and Insurance, Information Technology, Management, Marketing), English Language and Literature, Computer Science, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Law(LL.B)

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh is an institution devoted to developing young minds to their fullest potential through the free and creative pursuit of knowledge.

University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) came into being as the first ever private university in Chittagong.The man behind IAHS and USTC is National Professor of Bangladesh and internationally reputed physician Dr. Nurul Islam who is the Founder Vice-Chancellor of the USTC.

The World University of Bangladesh (WUB) is a private university, created under the Private University Act, 1992 (amended in 1998) & approved by the Government of Bangladesh and the University Grants Commission. It Consists of FACULTY OF BUSINESS STUDIES: Business studies (BBA/MBA), FACULTY OF ENGINEERING: Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, FACULTY OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY: Computer Sceince & Techonology, FACULTY OF ARTS & HUMANITIES: English, Law, Education (B.Ed/M.Ed), Business Education.
