Department of Agricultural Marketing is to provide improved marketing services with a view to ensuring fair returns to the growers for their produce and adequate supply to the consumers at reasonable prices through improvement in marketing condition, reduction of marketing costs, regulation of market practices and market promotion for agricultural crops specially new crops like, maize, soybean, potato and sunflower.
