Water Resources Planning Organization

The Water Resources Planning Organization (WARPO) is an agency of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh under the Ministry of Water Resources. WARPO is a key organization of the Government dealing with nation wide water resources planning and management and thus forming an apex body in the water sector. The mandates outline WARPO as the macro-level planning organization for integrated water resources management (IWRM), which is broadly recognized as the framework to address the issues of water resources for its wise use and development.
