Elderly Initiative for Development (EID) was established in 1995 as a community based self help organization, and registered with the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. Its regular program of work in different villages in the District of Manikgonj is carried out with a personal grant from its founding Chairman. The present EID activities center around the following programs: Health Care, Elderly Education, Pension Savings, Elderly Allowance, and Awareness Creation.
Equity and Justice Working Group (EJWG) is an alliance of NGO and CSO activists in Bangladesh. The group members have experiences of policy advocacy and campaign activism in grass root, national and international level for last three decades. These are in respect of trade and economic justice, human rights, democracy, civic education, information and communication technology, climate change, disaster risk reduction, local governance and popular culture.

Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary and iterative process to promote sustainable management of coastal zones. It covers the full cycle of information collection, planning (in its broadest sense), decision-making, management and monitoring of implementation. ICZM uses the informed participation and co-operation of all stakeholders to assess the societal goals in a given coastal area, and to take actions towards meeting these objectives. ICZM seeks, over the long-term, to balance environmental, economic, social, cultural and recreational objectives, all within the limits set by natural dynamics.

The Irish Rovers approach of using football as a focus to Kick Poverty was born from the experience of individuals from Ireland working in the poorest developing world. The charity developed from a team of football coaches, development workers and their friends wanting to make a lasting difference.
