Elderly Initiative for Development (EID) was established in 1995 as a community based self help organization, and registered with the Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. Its regular program of work in different villages in the District of Manikgonj is carried out with a personal grant from its founding Chairman. The present EID activities center around the following programs: Health Care, Elderly Education, Pension Savings, Elderly Allowance, and Awareness Creation.

Equity and Justice Working Group (EJWG) is an alliance of NGO and CSO activists in Bangladesh. The group members have experiences of policy advocacy and campaign activism in grass root, national and international level for last three decades. These are in respect of trade and economic justice, human rights, democracy, civic education, information and communication technology, climate change, disaster risk reduction, local governance and popular culture.

To deal with social and economical development to the marginalized community, by providing sustainable information service, counselling, and educational support to individuals, families and grass root communities to improve their health, social and economic well being.

Governance Coalition is established in 2004 with the motto of “Promoting Responsive Governance and Human Rights”. Since 1997, WAVE Foundation and its partner organizations have been working with special emphasis on local governance & civil society empowerment to address issues related with good governance, human rights, gender equality, violence against women, women rights and quality primary education.

The Grameen Bank Support Group is a world-wide network of people who wish to support the Grameen Bank and other similar indigenous institutions in whatever way we can.

Dhaka Institute of Cultural Affairs is the national ICA in Bangladesh, shortly addressed as ICA Bangladesh. It is a not-for-profit, non-government and autonomous organization established as a chapter organization of ICA International (ICAI) headquartered in Brussels, Belgium currently relocated to Montreal, Canada. Dhaka ICA is a registered member of ICA International.Facilitation, training, and community empowerment are main focus of ICA work worldwide.

Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary and iterative process to promote sustainable management of coastal zones. It covers the full cycle of information collection, planning (in its broadest sense), decision-making, management and monitoring of implementation. ICZM uses the informed participation and co-operation of all stakeholders to assess the societal goals in a given coastal area, and to take actions towards meeting these objectives. ICZM seeks, over the long-term, to balance environmental, economic, social, cultural and recreational objectives, all within the limits set by natural dynamics.

The Irish Rovers approach of using football as a focus to Kick Poverty was born from the experience of individuals from Ireland working in the poorest developing world. The charity developed from a team of football coaches, development workers and their friends wanting to make a lasting difference.

KATALYST is a five-year project jointly funded by DFID, SDC, Sida, and CIDA1 , implemented by Swisscontact and GTZ International Services and works together with the Ministry of Commerce of Bangladesh.
