Lutheran Health Care Bangladesh (LHCB) is dedicated to serving the women, children and families in rural southern Bangladesh. LHCB provides maternal and child health care, education, community development programs, micro-savings group formation, safe water and improved sanitation projects. Our comprehensive health care facility is located in the village of Dumki in southern Bangladesh. The people in the surrounding villages are served through our community outreach programs and mobile health clinics.
The Nature Study Society of Bangladesh (NSSB) was established on August 30, 1996 for the collection and circulation of the facts and knowledge about Nature and Natural resources. It stemmed out from the senior members of Notre Dame Nature Study Club to work in the total country and world wide with the same aims and objectives in extended aspects.

To enhance its outreach capabilities as well as to strengthen the disaster response capacities of local organizations, Disaster Management Unit of CARE Bangladesh picked up partners among local NGOs. With 18 such partners in 1997, a national network was created under the banner, Network for Information, Response and Preparedness, Activities on Disaster (NIRAPAD). Each of the member organization of the network has had long experience in disaster mitigation.
The northern reverine char lands in Bangladesh are of the most vulnerable areas in the country. Large population of the poor faces an uphill struggle to sustain livelihoods. Concern Worldwide Bangladesh, in partners with seven local organizations, has initiated the Island Chars Resource Mobilization, or the Nodi o Jibon (Bengali for River and Life) project. The project is the result of a long project design process undertaken by Concern Bangladesh in collaboration with its partners

As a nonprofit humanitarian organization, ORBIS International strives to eliminate avoidable blindness and restore sight in the developing world. ORBIS works closely with local communities, governments and hospitals to design programs that increase local skills, improve health care facilities and foster awareness of eye health. The challenge for ORBIS is to ensure that the skills and technology to prevent blindness or restore eyesight is available in countries most in need.

Research Initiatives, Bangladesh (RIB) is a non-governmental, non-profit research-support agency. The main objective of RIB is to promote and support research on poverty alleviation in Bangladesh. Towards that end, RIB has undertaken a research-funding programme with support of the Royal government of the Netherlands. Through this programme, RIB seeks to provide funding and technical support to researchers who wish to undertake research on poverty alleviation.
