The name gMachizo comes from gMachi Ukegazou, a Japanese word means gwaiting for changeh linked to the mission and vision of Machizo Multimedia Communication. It is a Dhaka based social entrepreneurial media organization. Machizo provides professional media services, local content creation, training, online journalism, advocacy and introducing latest multimedia technology for social development. It actively promotes ethical uses of multimedia, majority access to knowledge and information, online journalism, visual education as well as human rights and human potential development beyond the cultural and geographical boarders.
