Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF) is the professional ICT journalist association of Bangladesh which was established in 2002. BIJF has representations of all leading Daily, weekly, monthly ICT publications and other media (such as web, digital publication and electronic media). BIJF has established for the development of ICT movement of our country and to stimulate and facilitate the growth structure of this sector.

Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), the country national news agency was launched on January 1, 1972 within days of birth of Bangladesh as an independent country. The Dhaka bureau of the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) was turned into the national news agency of the new country.

The Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) was established in 1976 to impart in-service training, Research, Publication and Feature writing to working journalist of national and regional newspapers and media personnel. President Ziaur Rahman was the founder of this Institute. PIB organizes training courses workshop, seminar for the journalist. PIB Undertakes research projects on various aspects of media and mass communication and their impact on society. PIB publishes book, Manual, Handouts, and Features on different aspects of journalism.

United News of Bangladesh (UNB), is the first fully computerised wire service in the private sector in South Asia. With Associated Press of America (AP), the worlds largest wire service as its principal partner in news exchange and its network of correspondents and reporters across the country and around the world, UNB supplies news, features and news photos to its subscribers within and outside the country numbering about 100. UNB subscribers include all leading local newspapers, important government offices, Bangladesh Television, Radio Bangladesh and some electronic and print media in cities abroad like London, New York and Dubai.
